"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
Genesis 8:22

He is the Lord of the Harvest. We were all born in sin and in sin did our mother's conceive us, but God said He would no longer punish the earth (read Gen 8:21). We are operating under grace, and God is not looking to condemn us for all of our mishaps and mistakes. He looked at us and loved us so much that He wants to be with us forever. He was able to look through our sin and see something good. So now it's time to reap the harvest God has promised us. We can't get caught up in the 'midnights' of our lives. Challenging circumstances may occur, but there are some things that we just have to deal with, and not because we are being punished or deserve it. We may sow in tears, but we will reap in joy (read Psalm 126:5). Our pain is just an indication of how God is going to bless us. Let's not trivialize this by making it all about money, cars, or material gain, but the ultimate harvest we can reap is when we lead a non-believer to Christ. Plant the seed, allow time to develop and grow the seed, and wait on the harvest - it's surely coming!

"So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army."
Ezekiel 37:10 (read Ezekiel 12 in its entirety)

"Don't Count Me Out!"

We can not live life with regret when we know that God has a plan for us(read Jeremiah 29:11). God knows how to handle everything that happens in our lives. 'Life' can sometimes leave a situation and the situation will seem dead, i.e. marriage, jobs, children, CHURCH! God must be in the center so that we can have some staying power. We must go to God and ask Him to breath again on our marriages, our husbands, our wives, our children, etc.

We can't stop worshipping the the true, living, all knowing, all powerful God when life gets a little tough. Just because things aren't working out the way we think they should, doesn't mean that God's Word is not going forth. Job 14:14 even reminds us that "man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble". Matthews 6:34 says, "take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." There are many scriptures that tell us that we are going to have problems, but we must know that the way a situation looks now is not necessarily our destiny.

Hope in God does not disappoint. He will show up with healing, deliverance, and restoration - restoration to what He intended us to be, not to what we used to be. God has enough power to turn the whole world upside down, if He wanted to, so what makes us think that He won't move in our individual situations. Pray, trust and believe and then tell the world - 'don't count me out!'.
